File names and folders

Files are named with the event's pattern, e.g. {pvm}_{klo}_{sukunimi}_v{versio}.{ext} → 2026-11-18_1400_Virtanen_v3.pptx.

• Attachments get a suffix: …_v3_video1.mp4. The PDF backup is …_v3_varakopio.pdf.
• The first name is added only if two speakers with the same last name share a session. If a name is taken, _2 is added.
• Names work on Windows and macOS: no forbidden characters.

Folders

• The event folder has a folder for each day, e.g. Päivä 2 – 18.11..
• A day folder always has each session's newest delivered version.
• Older versions move to the day's _vanhat folder only after a newer one has arrived.
