Reminders

Remind speakers of a missing presentation, a version to fix or the sound question.

The Muistutukset (reminders) page lists invited speakers who are missing something:

  • the presentation is missing (and they don't bring their own computer)
  • the newest version was rejected and needs fixing
  • the sound question is unanswered

The message lists what is missing for each of the speaker's sessions. If only the sound answer is missing, it thanks them for the presentation and asks just that.

  1. Check the recipients, what is missing, the previous reminder and the whole message.
  2. Choose Lähetä muistutukset valituille (send reminders to the selected). Those not reminded within two days are selected already.

The need is checked again right before sending, so a speaker who just uploaded won't get a needless reminder. A failed delivery is not reminded about, since the speaker can't fix it.
